Saskatchewan Country Music Assiciation Rising Star Winner 2013!!! Multi Nominee 2013/2014/2015 Country Music Top 40 & 100 Chart Placer

Will Ardell has had an amazing ride since coming onto the Canadian professional Country Music.  Winning coveted awards, numerous nominations, CANCON top 40 hits, 2 albums and an amazing standing ovation from his own peers!
Will Ardell grew up on the family farm in Rock Point Saskatchewan. With only modest means, no urban center close by, restrictions on entertainment is it any wonder a creative youth such as Will found a way to entertain himself?  Will Ardell has long had a passion for writing dating back to his early teens.  Will first began his writing career in the form of poetry. Entering contests and winning First place in a National contest and then going on to place in an International poetry writing contest. These successes were his earliest inspirations and propelled him towards writing daily.  In a recent 2015 interview Will stated he hopes someday to publish his poetry collection.
After receiving his first guitar at age 19 Will began the transition of writing poetry to song writing. The bug was now in Will! Writing music became a passion. Pouring his experiences, and unique sound into sometimes raw and powerful lyrics.
In 2009 Will took those lyrics and recorded some of his originals at home. Will then posted his music online for others to possibly enjoy. Always a humble a man, it was never an assumption people would just “love it”. The reaction however, was just that, people did just “love it”! Soon Will was getting requests by the hundreds. Having only recorded at home, he burned the CD’s and sent them off.... 1500 of them!
In 2010 Will performed some of his original works for the Southwest Saskatchewan Country Music Association. Continuing to impress audiences with his unique powerful voice and raw honest talent, Will’s network grew. Before he knew it he was boarding a plane for Nashville in 2011 and recording his first CD!
Kicking off Will’s entry into the professional Country Music industry in 2012 was the release of his first album, a two disc CD; “All About The Ride”. Except for one song, Will wrote the entire CD solo. “All About The Ride” was released in March 2012, and was well received by radio and a quick growing fan base.
“All About The Ride” had SOCAN Top 40 hits and the video for “Make Me A Man”, a moving song written in tribute to Will’s father, has been viewed over 400,000 times. Currently “Make Me A Man” holds the record for the most viewed video by a Male Country Music Artist from Saskatchewan.  For a debut album all of these achievements were absolutely incredible!! Fans and audiences love the honesty and sometimes wry wit and humor found in Will’s lyrics. With a powerful and distinctive voice, Will touches the din in all of us to be heard over our environment.
Helping spur on Will’s career was unbelievable honor of being invited to play at a 2012 CCMA Showcase. In front of a packed audience of his own peers, Will captivated the audience with what has been called a “legendary performance” and received a standing ovation.
Will spent 2013 touring, writing and recording his second album. Taking time out to accept the award for “Rising Star 2013” from the Saskatchewan Country Music Association. He also received nominations for; Male Vocalist of The Year, Song of The Year, Album of The Year, and Video of The Year (Save Me). The hits just kept coming with the release of “Two Shadows”. With the anticipation of his new album in early 2014 Will released “High On Life” and again broke the Top 40 SOCAN charts.
January 2014 Reckless was released. Another outstanding album produced and engineered in both Canada and Nashville. Once again fans and peers recognized Wills talents nominating him at the 2014 SCMA’s for; Male Vocalist of the year, Video of The Year (Dangerous Eyes), Single of The Year and Song of The Year.
2015 started off with more nominations from Saskatchewan Country Music Association. This year Will was honoured with nominations for; Male Vocalist of The Year, Album of The Year (Reckless), Roots Album of The Year, and Video of The Year (Ten Thousand Candles).
Will Ardell has starting turning heads internationally. Already familiar to country fans across the pond in 2015 he’s really starting to turn heads and ears particularly in the UK. Garnering a fast growing fan base, regular rotation on UK radio, requests for interviews and tours! Its appears Will could very well be playing under Big Ben in the near future!
Will Ardell is a true artist always striving to be perfect his art and to be true to his craft. Never one to fall into a box or a label his Brand is honesty and pureness. As authentic and witty as his lyrics Will’s fan base continues to grow. Will continues to write for his third album no set release date as of yet, and tour.
